![]() You couldn't get any tickets, but you could play what you wanted. I waited 30 minutes in a ridiculously slow-moving line to get a card for a ride with no one waiting to go on it! Extremely inefficient and again, unnecessarily complicated.Īrcade games: Our party package came with cards good for one hour of free play. My biggest complaint about it is that you can't just load money on your card and go- instead, you have to go to the other side of the building, "register" at one set of kiosks, and then stand in a line to pay money for a different card to then take back to the ropes. I've done a lot of others that had more varied challenges. Ropes course: My 13-year-old did this, and he enjoyed it, thoug it was pretty straightforward. definitely NOT a place to seek a respite from your activites. There was hardly anyone seated, and we were there as a pre-reserved party, and yet it took 45 min to get our food! And no, it wasn't planned that way- they had to rearrange the rest of our activity schedule because they made us miss our schedule. Restaurant: This was the low point of the experience. It was very exhilarating, though round two was a strain on the two of our group who were prone to motion sickness, despite having taken dramamine. You then shoot at things jumping out at you from the screen while the seat movements and air currents make you feel like you're moving/falling/crashing. Equipment seemed to work fine, though it was a little more complicated than most laser tags, with two different shooting modes and multiple shots needed to take someone out, and a "shield" that seemed unnecessarily complicated.ĭarkride: Up to 8 people at time don 3D glasses and belt into seats in front of a big screen. Laser tag: A nice environment for the tag. Also some of the karts had a poor design that scraped the top of your hands when you turned the wheel. The karts did however take a lot of muscle to steer- my undersized 13-year-old had a lot of trouble managing them. We had some snags getting the helmets to fit and getting our glasses back on, but appreciated the safety measure. ![]() I've written about the various activities below: I'm not sure what it's like without a planned schedule and an escort from one activity to the next- as I detail below, the one event I bought separately was a very frustrating payment system. While we did have great fun with the go karts and the "darkride", overall there was a lot of room for improvement. We did an activity package for a friend's birthday. Thank You Andretti's for a wonderful experience!!! (the restaurant was great as well, all the food was on point, we loved the booth being reserved and balloons and sign on table for him as well) 23rd was his party date and even though his actual bday was during the week, and he's been here many times he said he really felt like that was the greatest day of his life, and that visit was the best one. My son said that was the best birthday he EVER had and that I was the BEST mom ever, lol. My little one loved her and she was especially attentive considering he could not do all the things my oldest and his friends could do, they even compensated for what he couldn't do-which was going above and beyond. The girl we had for our party host was phenomenal and her name right now I cannot think of (it will likely come to me after I post) but she is originally from Cali and she was awesome, she had a great way with the kids and was really helpful and moving the boys along. They had a sign that had my son's name and 10th bday underneath and he felt so special. Once we got there, it was smooth sailing, we were greeted by the managers one's name was Matthew, I forget the other, maybe George (I may be wrong) but they were so friendly and awesome. I am so glad he convinced me not to do pay as you go. He tailored a pkg for a total of 5 and it was more reasonable than I thought. I WAS BLOWN AWAY at the genuine courtesy and awesome professionalism of James Dewberry. My oldest recently turned 10 and really wanted to go to Andretti's (he was an avid Dave and Buster's kid but not since his intro to this place) and I told him I could not afford a party at Andretti's but he said long as he gets to go, he didn't want one-well with straight A's and for the big 10, I allowed him to invite no more than 4 friends and I called to see what deals I could get for such a small party. drive, we are never disappointed upon our arrival. My boys and I frequent here as often as we can-aside from it being a 50 min.
